The Centre of Excellence in Gastrointestinal Sciences of Rajagiri Hospital, Aluva, Kochi, Kerala, India under its prestigious LIVER INSTITUTE conducts biennial international conferences, aimed at disseminating knowledge and advances in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and allied sciences. The conferences showcase latest scientific and technological advances happening around the world for the benefits of Indian physicians, academicians and researchers in Gastroenterology and its allied specialties. We bring global leaders and pioneers in focussed fields of interest to interact with the audience. The conference is known as LIGHT UPDATE (Liver Institute, Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Technology Updates). The next conference is slated to be held on 13 th, 14 th and 15 th of February, 2026 at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kochi. This time the conference has focus on PANCREAS along with other fields of interventional radiology, surgery and advanced Gl Endoscopy. The Dutch Pancreatitis group has graciously accepted our invitation to participate in the 2026 conference. This is the first time this eminent team of researchers in pancreatology will be visiting India. Other eminent speakers from Europe, S.E. Asia and leading Indian faculty will be participating.
